Where to find itEdit › Command sequences

Command sequences record recurring operations on a selection. They can contain supported commands, object properties, and paragraph and character settings. For product images, you can set fitting and stroke once and repeat them together later. The whole playback is a single undo step. A named sequence appears in command search and can be shared as a file or stored in the document for the team.

How to do it

  1. Choose Edit › Command sequences › Record command sequence.
  2. Perform the supported operations.
  3. Stop recording and save the sequence with a name.
  4. Select the target objects and play the sequence through command search.

Limits

Mouse movements and typing are not recorded; unsupported actions are skipped.
