Where to find itObject › Paths › Pathfinder

You draw custom paths with the pen and edit their points with direct selection. For an agency mark, you can use the pathfinder to unite, subtract or intersect basic shapes. Polygons and stars provide starting shapes that you can adjust further. Corner options allow different settings per corner, and shapes remain vectors in the PDF.

How to do it

  1. Draw basic shapes or a path with «Pen».
  2. Select several shapes and open «Object» › «Paths» › «Pathfinder».
  3. Use «Add», «Subtract» or «Intersect».
  4. Edit points with «Direct Selection».
