You set the document's number grouping and format calculated table values with suitable decimal places. In an annual report, you can consistently typeset percentages, round amounts and negative numbers. The thousands separator can be an apostrophe, thin space, full stop or comma, and decimal alignment lines up numbers on a point or comma. Charts and data fields also use number settings, while percentage formatting multiplies the value by one hundred for display.

How to do it

  1. Select the cells to format.
  2. Open «Table» › «Calculate» › «Number format …».
  3. Set «Decimal places» and «Align on decimal separator».
  4. Confirm with «Apply».
