You can output related pages as printer spreads and retain attached gatefolds within the spread. For a brochure, imposition arranges pages on sheets for saddle stitching. This lets you check which pages share a sheet before folding. If the printer needs separate files, export each page as its own PDF in a ZIP. These options change the arrangement in the output file while you continue working with the original document pages.
How to do it
- Open «File › Export …».
- Choose PDF as the output format.
- Enable «Spreads (facing pages on one sheet)» or «Impose as a booklet or arrange pages on a sheet».
- For separate files, choose «Each page as its own PDF (ZIP)» instead.
- Review the selection and click «Export».
Limits
Imposition here supports saddle stitching, not imposition for folded products.
